Endoscope Testing Equipment
Precision Optics Corporation’s test & measurement instruments can be used to test and verify the optical quality of both rigid and flexible endoscopes. The types of rigid scopes that can be tested include laparoscopes, arthroscopes, bronchoscopes, cystoscopes containing either rod lenses or distal end (chip-on-tip) optical components.
POC test & measurement equipment is typically used for QC/QA testing during scope manufacturing, scope service and repair and in the clinical engineering or biomedical engineering department at hospitals and surgical centers.
All POC endoscope quality test & measurement instruments can be used to monitor scope quality in support of a hospital’s preventive maintenance (PM) program to ensure compliance with the Joint Commission’s requirement for managing scopes in diagnostic medical equipment inventory (Elements of Performance – EC.02.01.01, EC.02.04.01, EC.02.04.03).
EndoScan™ Rigid Scope Lens Tester
Checks for endoscope lens damage in seconds:
- Analyzes problems with rigid endoscope lenses
- Cracked relay lenses
- Moisture in optical system
- Dirt on surfaces
- Adhesive Degradation
- Precision glass imaging lens for the clearest view of endoscope interior
- Accepts all DIN standard endoscope eyepieces
- Locking eyepiece attachment prevents possible damage during testing
- Adapts to standard endoscopic video cameras for documentation
Endoscope Lightsource L700 LED
The L700 LED Light Source from Lighthouse Imaging is designed to provide bright, white light for testing endoscopic systems. The compact, multi-turret design makes the L700 a versaite light source for system illumination testing with the EndoLume light meter.
EndoLume™ Endoscopic Light Meter
Identify the true source of illumination problems by quantitatively measuring:
- Light output of endoscopic light source – all major brands & types
- Light transmission through fiberoptic light cable – all connector types
- Light transmission through optical fibers in flexible and rigid endoscopes.
